Well, I gave up on the former theme. It kept not loading fully and I just could not track down the problem. I am not the biggest fan of this one, but I’m all about the “easy button” so there ya go.

Monday is Jacob’s allergy appointment. We will figure out more about the corn and egg allergy then, and see what kind of diet he’s going to have to follow and for how long.

I have to admit that I don’t really understand it all. I mean, I read the literature and it was conflicting. One thing she gave us talked about doing the challenge thing where you completely eliminate it from your diet and then introduce it hard core at the end of two weeks. Then the other stuff talked about using a rotation diet where you eat completely different foods with no foods repeating over the course of 4 days.

So, is that for after the challenge part? And do we have to do the corn trial separately from the egg trial? And what effect are all the shots going to have on these trials? How will I be able to recognize “symptoms” at the end of two weeks when he has so many allergies that cause symptoms of one sort or another.

We went last night and got mattress and pillow barriers, so hopefully that will help, since there’s dust mites around this house I’m sure.
