It’s been a while since I’ve written. Things here have been… hectic.

I don’t know what to say except to say that I am not the same person I was before I fell off that damn ladder.

I’m really really not.

I’m an exaggeration of my former self. With other annoying neurotic bullshit thrown in.

Anyway, Jacob had his surgery and had his second post-op appointment and while it’s not all healed yet, the doctor said he’s looking good. We went to the allergist yesterday and the allergy tests will begin soon so that hopefully they can get him desensitized to this crazy fungus and this won’t happen again.

My house has been full of visitors in one way or another with more on the way on the 23rd. I’m ready for things to just be normal again. Even though I love everyone who has come through very dearly… I’ve decided that I just don’t function very well when my routines are thrown off and I get behind with work and school… and of course no one understands this… that I’m already behind because of the *&*(&#%! arm problem. I’m already functioning at half (assed) capacity. So when folks come, then I’m functioning at about quarter (assed) capacity. If that.

See, and I started this thinking, “I can write an entry and get all this stuff out of my head about why things are so off.”

And I’m so tired I can barely keep my eyes looking at the screen.

I think what I need is a good long bath and a painkiller. Just doing the laundry and dishes has wiped my arm out.
